The Significance of Psychological Therapy in Overcoming Chronic Cancer Pain

Abstract

Suffering of chronic cancer pain is a meeting point of physical as well as psychological, social and cultural elements. Psychological care targets at the subjective pain pattern, reflecting the emotions, cognitive processes and behaviors of the patient.

The studied case marks and gives a meaning of the major points of psychological therapy with patients with cancer pain.
