V. Tsvetanova

Abstract

Affiliation of individuals of marginal groups is a main task of modern society that is closely related to the activity of the social worker. This is due to the circumstance that marginalized people simply reject certain values and traditions of social culture. Interaction with them determines the necessity of searching for various forms and approaches of action. The work on the project entitled ‘The delight of creating` provides such opportunities. It is accomplished through joint activities between two main groups: students of the speciality of ‘social activities` and representatives of different marginal groups. As a result of these activities, a practical and emotional personal experience is gained by the participants originating from the marginal groups enabling their successful socialization. Students` role consists in their personal model example to their colleagues concerning the helping and supporting the people with specific needs.
