Abstract
The aim of this article is to give feedback on learning practices for English for Computer Science courses and to suggest meaningful updates, increasing the effectiveness and usefulness of these courses. The recommendations given are based on the experience of the author as a lecturer in Computer Science (programming, algorithms, data mining, design) for different levels of learners (high school students, bachelors/masters/PhD in Computer Science, teachers). All mentioned ideas could be used in training working professionals in IT industry. A lot of recommendations could be used in the design of interdisciplinary courses with focus on data-driven practices and computational thinking.
