The situational awareness directly corresponds to the ability to consider what is happening in the surrounding security environment, and to control processes, effects, and environment. The adequacy of control needs a designated high level of connectivity. So, when the system is open beyond given limits, the control and situational awareness become problematic. The reality requires a constant upgrade and transformation of the understanding of the "external" multidimensional environment which changes extremely in a dynamic and non-linear way. These factors make any given complex system unstable and difficult to predict and control. Then, the response of decision-makers can be based on the control by use of adaptive nonlinear dynamic systems.
