Factors related to development of cruise shipping industry

Abstract

In recent decades, there has been a strong growth of the cruise industry, which has managed to develop innovative concepts in terms of safety and security service and to offer attractive vacation to the exotic destinations around the world. Thus, the cruising has gradually become a major part of the tourism sector and has become one of the main economic factors for development of shipping industry. Based on analysis of the global demand on cruising this article defines the factors influencing the development of cruise fleet and leading cruise lines and provide a vision for future efforts in field having in mind also the dynamic changes in current situation.
