Analysis on the state of cruise ship industry and cruises in the conditions of the COVID crisis

Abstract

The cruise ship industry is one of the most affected part of tourism sector worldwide after appearance of the coronavirus. The ban on cruise travel issued by the WHO in March 2020 hits not only to tour operators and cruise ship owners, but also reflected on shipbuilders. The article analyzes the state of cruise industry in the conditions of COVID crise and give some directions for future efforts dealing with recovery and future development of the cruise sector.
