Application of social management in logistic sector for building of stable and competitive multimodal transport chains

Abstract

The transport is an important economic sector that contributes to meeting the people needs. The integration of transport processes and the creation of multimodal transport chains is important for improvement on the quality of the transport service and reduces the current costs of the logistic service.

The questions, addressed to social management are of growing importance and priority today. Among the leading prerequisites for this are globalization, the role of knowledge, information, cultural dialogue, the growing importance of social interaction factors in world etc. Due to the above considerations, the following paper presents a study of current, debatable issues regarding the modern management concept, named "social management" in the case of the logistics business especially in creating of competitive transport chains.
