Abstract

In the emergency situtuations the physician shall consider with priority the acute inspiratory insufficiency, the bleeding (hemmorhage) and the pain.
The vertigo and the hearing loss are sometimes overlooked in healthcare practice which is a reason for conflicts in the realtion physician-patient.
With this article we hope we can shall the level of competences in the process of resolution of the problems with the acute vertigo with or without hearing loss.
We will stress on the algorithm within the general practicioner and, without imposing any additional duties, we will try to guide him clarify the acute vertigo crisis following the patient’s ambulatory files where the history and the characteristics of the crisis are described.
When it concerns a neurological or endocrinological causes of the disease, the patient shall be directed for urgent hospital treatment by otologist or otoneurologist.
