The blood of adult thymectomized guinea pige is investigated prior to and after sensibilization. lt is established that 1/ thymectomy leads to reuced percentage of the small lymphocytes and eosinophilic oells in the peripheral blood, 2/ thymectomy inhibits the sensibilization of the organism, reducing the percentage of eosinophilic and segment-nucleated cells, whilst in the control animals they are increased and V the longer the period elapsed after thymectomy, the greeter the reduction of its influence on the peripheral blood.
