The author establishes that the three main haptoglobin types in our country are represented with prevailing of type 2-2 and decreasing the frequent occurence of type 1-1.
It is still rather difficult and unreliable to determine haptoglobin with the serious hepatic disturbances in the clinical practice. Their application in the medicolegal practice when the parential origin is doubted, is well proved, however, and increases to a great extent the possibilities of the expert examination.
