ВЛИЯНИЕ НА ТИМЕКТОМИЯТА ВЪРХУ ЕНЗИМНАТА АКТИВНОСТ НА 5-НУКЛЕОТИДАЗА И АДЕНИЛПИРОФОСФАТАЗА В МОЗЪЧНА ТЪКАН НА ПЛЪХОВЕ

Abstract

A biochemical study is carried out on the enzymatic activity of 5-nucleotidase and adenosine triphosphatase in the brain tissue of thymectomized white albino rats by thyreoidectomy and cholesterol charging. The results obtained are compared both with data from intact rats of the same age, and with the results recovered during the investigation of thyroidectomized, cholesterol fed animals. The activity of adenosine triphosphatase on thymectomized and thyroidectomized, cholesterol fed animals displays a triple rise as compared to intact animals. Cholesterol and thyroidectomy alone exert no effect whatsoever upon this enzyme. 5-Nucleotidase activity in thymectomized, cholesterol fed and thyroidectomized animals shows a certain increase in comparison to intact animals, with the highest activity being recorded among thyroidectomized, cholesterol taking animals. The results demonstrate that thymectomy brings about an increase of the activity of the enzyme, related to the rised resistance of the animals towards atherosclerosis (adenosine triphosphatase), and simultaneousyl, accounts for much lesser augmentation of the activity of the enzyme, influencing the tissue calcification (5-nucleotidase).
