A review is made of 2350 primarily examined and accordingly certified subjects—workers and clerks and cooperative farmers - for invalidity due to cardio-vascular diseases, covering the period 1962 - 1965.
It is established that the relative part of individuals with unattested invalidity is increasing. The reasons for rejecting invalidity claims are classified in three groups: lack of contraindications for working the former profession from 30.1 —38.1%; insufficient degree of functional impairment from 29.2 - 35.1%; in need of treatment and occupational readjustment from 20.1 to 29.1%.
Differences in the expert commision`s reports are conditioned by the incomplete assessment of working conditions, cliniko-laboratory data and functional state of the organism.
