ВЪРХУ ЛИПОЛИТИЧНАТА АКТИВНОСТ НА АЛКАЛОИДИТЕ НА THALICTRUM MINUS SSP. ELATUM И НЯКОИ ДРУГИ ВЕЩЕСТВА С ВЛИЯНИЕ ВЪРХУ РАЗЛИЧНИ ЗВЕНА НА АДРЕНЕРГИЧНИТЕ ФУНКЦИИ

Abstract

The colorimetric method suggested by Duncombe is employed in studvirg the changes in concentration of serum non-esterified fatty acids (NEFA) in a series of white albino rats, occurring under the effect of the Thalictrum .minus ssp. elatum alkaloids (I), applied separately or in combination with netalid (II) (^-adrenergic blccker), phenoxyberzamire (III) (a-adrenergic blccker), norepinephrine (IV) and tranilcypromine (VI) - mono-aminoxidase inhibitor, similarly endowed with adrenomimetic action. It is found out that I accounts for an increase of the NEFA quantity by 55 per cent. The blocking of р-adrenoreceptors with II cbviates the lipid mobilizing effect of I. It is furthermore established that` alpha-adreno-blocking with II does not have the same significance. Additive interaction is observed between the lipolytic effects of I and IV, w'hereas between I and V - antagonism. Separately, VI accounts for a substantial lipolysis and moreover supplements the lipolysis of I during their combined application. The reserpine property of mobilizing lipids is not completely neutralized by the effect of netalid, unlike the properties of the thalictrum alkaloids, whereas it is rot at all influenced by III. The data obtained are discussed from the viewpoint of the possibilities of the Thalictrum minus ss. elatum alkaloids of exerting their lipolytic action indirectly, by means of liberating the active in this respect catecholamines.
