The test-results establishing the importance of а mixture containig both auto-antibodies hemolytic streptococci in the inception and course of experimental myocarditis and arthritis are reported. 35 albinо rats are used in the experiment. The animals are divided into two groups: а test (25 animals), and а control (10 animals) group. The test-animals are epinephrectomized so as to study the nature of the process for lack of adrenals. There is по ground to reson in the clinical follow up of the animals, that any changes have developed. With the exception of individual animals, the cardiac activity soas observed оn the E.C.G findings, also do not give precise data of myocardial lesion. These changes also correspond to the results from the histologic examination of the heart muscle: predominantly edema, slight dystrophtc alterations, and insigniiicantly expressed mucopolysaccharides. In the controls – the histologic examination also indicates of symptoms of myocardial edematization and slightly expressed degeneration.
It is considered that а mixter of auto-antibodies and hemolytic streptococci brings about to а reciprocal influence of both agents. Additional tests, deal with the sterility of the injectaЫe (auto-antibodies and hemolytic streptococci) mixter.
