An analytical study is made of 2694 autopsies carried out over а 10-year-period (1953-1962). The incidence of the various affections is illustrated in tables according to the system involved, age and sex, residence and are divided in difterent groups with respect to basic affection, complications, concomitant illness аnd incidental findings.
It is emphasized that the most frequently encountered are the diseases of the respiratory system, next ranking the affections of the cardiovascular system and infections diseases.
