The etiology, pathogenesis and treatment of nephropathia gravidarum is discussed. The clinico-statistical investigations carried out bу the author on the births occurred over а two-year-period, reveal 200 pregnant women with nephropathy. In these patients the clinical course of nephropathia did not show the typical for this particular disease signs (hypertony, albuminuria and edema), and very often two or оnlу one symptom was present. The early hospitalization of thе patients and the treatment undertaken accounted for the obtaining of rather good late results, as far as mothers are concerned and children as well.
