Abstract
At this moment, in the world one could find more than 1200 active Da Vinci systems, which are used for most abdominal, gynecological, urological, cardiosurgical and neurosurgical operations. Since February, 2013 onwards, in Doverie Hospital of Sofia there is a Da Vinci robot which is used for abdominal, gynecological and urological operations. Da Vinci system increases the surgeon`s possibilities by its 3D-HD visualization as well as the preciseness and control. We present our preliminary experience as a surgical division with the Da Vinci robot and compare the traditional laparoscopic operations with these which are performed by means of Da Vinci robot.
