Abstract

Introduction: 3M ESRE Clinpro TM White Var- nish with TCP (CV) is a fluoride-based varnish de- signed to be applied on enamel to prevent early lesions. It is recommended by the American Academy of Pe- diatric Dentistry AAPD, approved by the American Dental Association ADA.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of mineralizing fluorine varnish on the progression of d1 and d2 enamel caries lesions in the temporal dentition. Material and methods: Object of observation:

Dental caries diagnosed with d1 and d2.

Units of observation: Children with high risk of caries development: A group of 100 children treated with a mineralizing varnish CV, Control group of 100 children, Caries teeth with threshold d1, d2 lesions, Caries with d1, d2 lesions.

Two hundred children from 3 to 6 years of age at- tending clinical practice in - University Medical and Dental Center in Varna were enrolled in two groups using a fluorine varnish and a control group. Children are at high risk of developing caries. Children are at high risk of developing caries. Probeans were divid- ed into two groups of 100 children. The first group is treated by us, to which we apply Clinpro ™ White Var- nish with TCP (Tri-Calcium phosphate) (3M). The children in the group are treated with mineralization fluoride varnish by application. The reading of the le- sion values of the initial caries was performed with DI- AGNOdent Pen in order for the experiment to be accu- rate, clear and reliable.

Results: The results of the comparative analysis of the study showed a statistically significant difference in the change of the carious lesions d1 and d2 from active to inactive lesions (p<0.001), with better results (25, 0%).

Conclusion: The results show that fluoride min- eralization applied is effective for the prevention and treatment of active d1a, d1b and single cavity - d2 enamel lesions of temporary teeth.
