Тracking and control of visual function is an important component of a child`s health prevention. Many of the visual disorders can be diagnosed, corrected, and treated with adequate screening in infancy. Early detection is essential for the proper development of the visual analyzer, physical and mental development of the child.
The purpose of the present study is to summarize the results and analyze the effectiveness of the screening program conducted in the city of Varna from its beginning to the present.
The results of our study show the high effectiveness and efficiency of screening performed within the Regional Child Vision program
