Nutritional habits play a key role in maintaining optimal health and preventing a number of chronic non-communicable diseases. During the period of study at a university, sustainable behavioral patterns are built. Nutrition is of particular importance, as it can affect not only the physical, but also the psycho-emotional state of young people. Nursing students represent a specific group in which the influence of nutritional practices has a two-way effect - on the one hand, on their own health and work capacity, and on the other, on their professional training and the ability to be a reliable example for their future patients.
This report aims to examine the relationship between dietary habits and health status of nursing students. Particular attention is paid to the role of the university environment in creating conditions for healthy eating and the need for targeted educational and preventive programs. The conclusions drawn show that the formation of balanced eating habits among nursing students is not only a factor in their personal well-being, but also a strategic element of their preparation as future health professionals. Improving nutritional culture in this group has the potential to enhance the quality of patient care and support the long-term prevention of noncommunicable diseases in society.
