The text of the report is focused on the communicative procedures used in the creation and dissemination of fake news. The psycholinguistic aspects of the reception of fake news are investigated, and the material is extracted from posts and reactions on social networks (Facebook) and from various sites. The reasoning is specified in the direction of linguistic and communicative mechanisms, manipulating the cognitive activity of the recipient of information. Conclusions are drawn regarding the impact of fake news on the formation of the worldview of different audiences. An important detail in the research is the additional focus that is placed on the problem of fake news in the field of health care. Manipulative communication practices that are used in the dissemination of false information concerning public and personal health can lead to the compromise of irreplaceable healing tools.
