Tooth anatomy and morphology are fundamental disciplines in the education of future dental medicine and dental technician specialists. There is an increasing need to implement effective and innovative teaching methods in contemporary dental education. Dental education requires students not only to study tooth anatomy and morphology but also to develop spatial thinking and manual skills.
The aim of this literature review is to analyze the existing teaching and learning methods in tooth anatomy and morphology described in the literature within the context of dental technician education, while assessing their effectiveness, applicability, and potential for optimizing the educational process. The integration of innovative technologies supports the individualization of the learning process and creates opportunities for a better connection between theoretical knowledge and its application in clinical dental technology practice. Future research should focus on evaluating the long-term effectiveness of digital educational tools and their impact on the professional competencies of students trained in the dental technician specialty.
