Recurrent respiratory papilomatosis is a disease with DNA viral etiology and it characterizes with recurrent proliferation on benign squamous papillomatosis on respiratory tract. We use by our patients combinating approach – conventional with the following minimally invasive transoral CO2 laser surgery and drug treatment. In this way we reduce the risk of damaging the delicate surrounding structures and maximally preserved the voice characteristics. By our patients we use two schemes according the following therapy: A) α-Interferon s.c. by a scheme and B) from December 2009 bacille calmette – guerin [ BCG] immunotherapy by scheme. Our observations show that this combination between operative and drug treatment decreases significant recidives in a comparison with the other way when they are used separately.

α-Interferon s.c.
