It is pointed out that the contrast arteriography is nof sufficiently utilized for estabishing of diagnoses and for differential diagnostics, fact which justifies the author to advocate, оп the ground of his personal esperience, а wider application of this method in the practice.
Ву means of arteriography the proЫem could bе solved referring to the nature of the blооd vessel narrowing bringing about its obliteration, its morphological changes алd thereafter the decision шаdе as to eшbarking оn conservative or surgical treatment, including determination of the level of eventual amputation. Nowadays, the arteriography is most valuable as regards
the determination of the level of obstruction and with view to the application of some new operations - trombectomy, arteriectomy or bypass operation associated with vascular transplantation.
Detailed description is given of several characteristic cases of arteriographies.
