Description is made of а method for determination of oxalic acid with lead nitrate in the presence of chromazurol. Тhе indicator proposed yields better results as compared to diphenylcarbazon аnd dithison. The influence of the inhibiting and indifferent ions is studied in detil. The optimal concentrations аrе established of С2О4 2- ions at 1which the estimation proves to bе most accurate. Reducing substances do not hinder the essay. The method is vегу suitable for determination of oxalic acid and oxalates in various materials.
