Certain problems related to the technique, indications and the diagnostical significance of operative and drainage cholemanometry and cholegraphy are discussed. It is stressed that operative cholemanometry is а very valuable instrumental investigation method for detecting dynamic alterations in the biliary tracts, occuring with formation of concrements or deyelopment of inflammatory diseases. Surgical cholegraphy is resorted to in hypotony of the biliary tracts with multiple bubblе calculosis or prolonged jaundice, as well as in all instances of manometrically proved hypertony of the biliary tracts. lt is further emphasiszed, that drainage cholemanometry is а yery effective method for studying the dynamic state оf biliary tracts in the postoperative period. All drains оf the biliary tracts should bе removed, bу rule, after the control drainage cholegraphy.
