Abstract

The following study focuses on a group of caries prone individuals. During the study all the individuals had to restrain of all means of oral hygiene, and the effect of two photosensitizers was evaluated. For this purpose plaque indices were used. The results show minor differences for the used dyes and show a potential area of application of antibacterial photodynamic therapy for control of dental cariogenic biofilm in vivo.
