Hysterosalpingography represents an examination when injection of special contrast liquid into the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes enables the analysis of their x-ray image. This investigation should preferably be performed prior to the stimulation of the ovulation as well as prior to the insemination as it controls the possibility of the fallopian tubes.
