Possibility of optimization of shipping energy expenses by construction and operational events

Aсен Aтанасов, Росен Aтанасов, Tодор Kоритаров

The publication aims to seek reserves to improve ship energy efficiency through measures to reduce hull resistance and overall losses during the operation. After the discovery and assessments of the significance of potential losses, recommendations were made to shipowners to be useful to them in their dialogue with shipbuilders and shippers.
